Frost Death Knight Playstyle Shadowlands The Frost Death Knight is a proc-based spec with a core kit of three spells: Obliterate, Howling Blast and Frost Strike. Obliterate deals direct damages and spends our Rune resource. It also absorbs our procs of Killing Machine, which guarantees a critical strike! We have a total of 6 Runes that. I'm looking to play 2H Frost in Shadowlands, and am interested in seeing what the best Covenant for that would be. I intend to play M+ and potentially Raid, and I do not intend to PvP. I am currently under the impression that it's Night Fae, due to Death's Due and the extra increase in movement. Frost is the “high” speed simple spec. The spec is extremely simple until you put in the talents and then it gains a bit it complexity but it’s a fast spec though it can suffer from down time and nothing to hit. Unholy is the more “core” death knight theme. You get an undead pet but the spec has a bit more complexity. The best in slot trinkets for Frost Death Knights again Unstable Arcanocrystal and Eye of Command. A third best is Memento of Angerboda. Because this post is in regards to feasible best in slot trinkets, the Arcanocrystal may be out of the picture for some Death Knights.
